Dual Credit Classes

Dual Credit Classes are college courses that high school students take to earn both high school and college credit. Taking these classes can assist students in saving time and money, while also preparing them for college.

Students may need to meet eligibility requirements, such as a minimum GPA or test score.
At Cedar Catholic, the majority of these classes are taken online through Northeast Community College.

HOW TO REQUEST YOUR COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS

Toward the end of your senior year in high school you are going to want to send your college transcript to the college you intend to enroll in for your first year of college. Cedar Catholic will send your high school transcript to this college, but you must request NECC to send a transcript that includes your college classes and grades. You will want to do this right before high school graduation or immediately after you graduate. Below are the instructions to order a college transcript:

Login to your My Apps account at northeast.edu/students
Click the Transcript Request icon to be directed to the order site.
If sending a copy of your transcript to another college, enter that institution's name in the search box and click search to find that institution's information. Continue through the steps on the ordering site to place your order.
If you want a transcript sent after grades are recorded for the current college term, please click that option while ordering online.
